Hiyama Castle was the main castle of Hiyama Ando family for five generations.
The mountain castle is 1500 m wide east-west and 900 m wide north-south.
On the west is Ushukaido that runs parallel to it. due to the location of the castle,
it is also said to be "Kiriyamajo (lit. Mountain castle of Frog)" and "Horinouchijo
(lit. Hori-no-uchi Castle)". In the present, it is used as a park.
