The former Ayukawa Elementary School, which was built around 1945, and is now designated as a National Tangible Cultural Property. In utilizing this closed down school building, a wooden art museum, full of warmth, has been brought to life. Featuring all kinds of exhibits that convey the history of locally made wooden furniture, unique toys, and the local area, anyone from kids to adults can have fun experiencing the charms of woodcrafting, and learning About a local traditions and culture.
