Torigata Estate

鳥潟会館

The 400-year-old home of the Torigata family, a lineage that has produced many doctors and scholars. The Former Torigata Residence was newly constructed during the middle of the 18th century, with over 1,000 craftsmen having worked on renovations over the course of 5 years from 1936. The Kyoto-style garden is also designated as a prefectural scenic location.
