Hideyoshi (Suzuki Sake Brewery)

秀よし（鈴木酒造店）

The brewery was established in 1689. When Lord Satake of Akita Domain tasted various kinds of sake to make comparisons, he evaluated sake of this brewery “Hiidete yoshi (excellent, very good)”. That is the origin of the name. Then it became official brewery of the domain and has been loved by local people. It is also known as a sight-seeing brewery today (reservation is required).
