Taka-no-Yu Onsen was founded in 1885. The name of this hot spring comes from the story of a falcon (taka in Japanese) whose wounds were healed by the hot spring water.
In the bathing area there is a 130cm deep bath, a women’s bath, a mixed-bathing outdoor bath, a women’s outdoor bath, an outdoor river bath, and a foot bath. Fall and winter are two of the most beautiful seasons to come and enjoy bathing in nature.
