This traditional Japanese folklore 'Namahage' demonic being(Don't worry! Sometimes Namahage is recognized as a God or a Holy Spirit) is now playing an active role as Akita's famous icon.
You can meet Namahage at their home town Oga peninsula. Furthermore, you can see them playing Japanese drums.
