Nyuto Hot Springs Village is a hot springs village with a history of over 350 years. Located in Semboku City, Akita Prefecture, it is famous as a secluded hot springs location. The hot springs village is at the foot of Mt. Nyuto, which is located in Towada Hachimantai National Park, which is spread across Akita, Iwate, and Aomori Prefectures. 7 hot spring resorts are interspersed as if they are being protected by a primeval forest of beech trees. Each resort has its own unique hot spring source. The qualities of the springs and the atmosphere of the resorts are varied, so it is recommended to enjoy these differences by trying out all the different springs.
