Mt. Moriyoshi Snow Monsters
The snow monsters of Mt. Moriyoshi are one of Japan's three great snow monsters. Snow monsters are formed when ice and snow adhere to the branches of trees. Due to this, snow monsters that have grown to be large are a rare phenomenon that can only be sighted in a limited number of places.
If you walk for about 5 minutes from the Ani Ski Resort's mountain summit gondola station, you can see a group of snow monsters created by the incredible power of nature. There is a walking course of around 30 minutes where you can see many snow monsters up close. Your sight will be captivated by the incredible scenery of snow monsters that have formed in all shapes and sizes.
Furthermore, there is an area near the mountain summit gondola station where you can borrow long boots, snow shoes, and walking poles, free of charge.
At night, you can experience a night tour that uses a snow tractor. You can enjoy the sight of snow monsters at night, which is a view that normally cannot be seen.
