The Denshokan Museum showcases items including ores and tools that were used in Ani Mine, which was once Japan’s leading copper production site. The Ijin-kan—built as a dormitory for foreign mining engineers—is designated as one of Japan’s Important Cultural Properties. There is a free guided tour of the building (Japanese/reservation required).
