"Kaba Zaiku" is a traditional style of birch work that has been handed down since the 18th century and made only in Kakunodate in Japan. Peel and dry the bark of the mountain cherry and process it into tableware. Here, you can check birch works made at four local workshops. Demonstrations of birch work are also performed.
