Japanese families with young daughters celebrate March the 3rd by decorating their homes with dolls, which is said to bring health and happiness. For the Kakunodate Hina Doll Tour, households and businesses are asked to display hina dolls that have been passed down from generation to generation, the oldest collection being some 300 years old.
