Odatebayashji is a local festival music with a tradition of 400 years since the day of Lord Satake, influenced by the famous Kyoto Gionbayashi festival music. During the festival, which is Odate's intangible folk cultural property, the city becomes filled with numerous floats and children's mikoshi or portable shrines.
